Bud Light Rocks The ‘Boat

The MusicFest
In Steamboat Springs, there’s no such thing as post-holiday blues. Every January, the mountain transforms into a one-of-a-kind music festival venue, bringing some much needed excitement and energy into the new year. Affectionately called “The Super Bowl of Texas Music” by musicians and fans, MusicFest is a deeply Western cultural experience, known as the premier Texas and Red Dirt Music festival.
Festival-goers can ski right up to the Outdoor Stage or take a star lit gondola ride to the mountaintop for an otherworldly music experience surrounded by majestic mountain views. Many of the performing artists cross paths with the wider community throughout the festival, resulting in a strong sense of togetherness that you won’t find anywhere else.
Strings Music Festival
Strings Music Festival offers top-tier music in an intimate mountain setting. Their summer festival features classical and contemporary artists in a 569-seat Pavilion at the Steamboat Springs’ base. Beyond concerts, they provide free community programs and music education like Strings School Days. Their mission is to enhance cultural experiences in Northwest Colorado, making exceptional music accessible to all.
As well as highly-coveted ticketed performances, the Strings Music Festival offers 60% of their programming free of charge. Many of these free performances are in partnership with other community organizations, working hard to bring high quality music to everyone in Steamboat.
Winter Wonder Grass Festival
Since 2013, the Winter Wonder Grass Festival has united pickers and roots artists across Steamboat Springs (and beyond) for an unforgettable three day event. The remarkable celebration is a blend of a music and a beer festival, offering musical performances, a kids’ zone, food trucks, and an exclusive VIP area. This event aims to unite artists and attendees as one vibrant community.

Steamboat Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1990 by Mary Beth Norris, the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra (SSO) began with community volunteers. Under Music Director Ernest Richardson since 2005, it has grown into a professional orchestra. The SSO’s mission emphasizes community integration, education, and performances with local and international artists, making it a vital asset to the Steamboat Springs community.
