This charming drop-in learning center provides children as young as one year old with the opportunity to explore a variety of creative play areas. Kids Garden is a fantastic place to safely leave your children if you want to explore Steamboat’s independent boutiques, take a day for yourself to explore nature, or need a quiet hour to get some work done.

Children can access a vibrant preschool curriculum on weekday mornings. These sessions are by reservation only, for children aged three to five years old. During this special, structured session, the staff encourage the children to learn through exploration, using natural materials and inspiration from the outside world.

In the afternoons, drop-in sessions are open to children aged one year old to 12. These sessions are full of fun, snacks, play, and structured creative workshops for kids over four.

If you’re hoping to plan a romantic meal with your partner, or fancy trying your hand at night-skiing, Kids Garden offers five hours of supervised play on the second Saturday of every month. That’s right, it’s ‘Parent’s Night Out’! From 4p.m. through 9p.m., your kids can enjoy games, themed crafts, pizza, and plenty of space to play.
