Summer Mountain Camp, operated by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, offers kids a thrilling blend of friendship and adventure, with a healthy dose of Western charm. With carefully selected staff ensuring both safety and fun, this camp introduces children to the wonders of the Rocky Mountains in an engaging, hands-on manner.

New for 2024, campers from 2nd grade onwards can partake in exhilarating mountain biking excursions, mastering skills and forging bonds on world-class downhill trails. This add-on, available on Tuesdays to Thursdays, promises action-packed days of skill development in a supervised environment.

The camp caters to different age groups, Yampa Campers (ages 5 to 1st grade), Routt Scouts (2nd & 3rd grade), and Pioneers (4th grade to 16 years). This ensures that your child will have  tailored experiences, suitable for their age and ability. Each day is brimming with diverse activities, including crafts, scavenger hunts, gymnastics, adventures on Steamboat Lake, and more!

The daily schedule encompasses structured activities, meals, and downtime, with an emphasis on the safety and comfort of your child. Campers are required to bring essentials like swimsuits, water bottles, and lunches, ensuring preparedness for each day’s excursions.

Old Town Hot Springs Summer Camp 2024

Old Town Hot Springs’ exhilarating Summer Camp for kids aged 6 to 10 is packed with a diverse array of activities including climbing, yoga, hiking, fitness sessions, and swimming classes. Running Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon across various weeks from June to August, the camp promises a dynamic experience for children amidst the scenic backdrop of downtown Steamboat Springs.

With a focus on fitness and fun, each day includes 30-minute swimming sessions where children can improve their skill development. Kids are encouraged to come prepared with essentials like reusable water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, and comfortable attire, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the camp’s activities.

Located within the historic Old Town Hot Springs facility, campers have access to natural outdoor hot spring pools, water slides, and an aquatics climbing wall, adding an extra layer of excitement to their summer adventures.

 

Howelsen Ice Arena Classes and Camps 2024

Howelsen Ice Arena offers a range of private lessons and camps catering to children of all ages and skill levels. Private figure skating and hockey lessons are available, with licensed coaches ensuring safe and engaging instruction.

For hockey enthusiasts, private sessions provide focused training opportunities, with athletes responsible for arranging their own coaching. These sessions require pre-registration and adherence to safety protocols

The arena also hosts a variety of hockey and figure skating camps and clinics, including Elite Hockey Training, Planet Hockey, Rocky Mountain Hockey School, and Grunnah Power Skating & Hockey School. These camps offer comprehensive skill development programs, including on-ice training, off-ice conditioning, and team-building exercises.

With options for both beginner and advanced players, Howelsen Ice Arena serves as a hub for youth hockey and skating development in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

 

Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Classes, Camps, and Coaching 2024

Kids Programs at Haymaker Golf Course 2024

Haymaker Golf Course offers a comprehensive range of clubs and classes tailored to young golf enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.

Junior Academy and Junior Academy Seniors are designed for players aged 9-10 and 11+ respectively, providing full swing and short game instruction, drills, and games aimed at transitioning players to the golf course. These sessions, held on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer, offer prepaid packages and individual sessions.

Girls on the Green is a program specifically crafted for girls aged 11+ of all skill levels, providing small group instruction, games, and a socializing meal every Wednesday evening from June to August.
