A distinguished winter tradition, the STARS Mountain Challenge blends outdoor adventure with meaningful impact. Participants navigate the slopes through a series of curated challenges, supporting programs that foster independence, confidence, and active lifestyles for individuals with disabilities.
Teams move across the mountain, completing activities designed to test skill, teamwork, and creativity, while contributing to a collective fundraising effort for Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports (STARS). The day concludes with recognition of both athletic achievement and commitment to community, embodying the spirit of collaboration, inclusivity, and purpose that defines Steamboat’s mountain culture.
