Sunset Happy Hour
Get ready for breathtaking views as you ride the Steamboat Gondola up the side of Mt. Werner on your way to the iconic Thunderhead Lodge.
Once atop the mountain, you’ll indulge in culinary bites, cocktails and local beverages, all set to the sound of a live band. You’ll watch the sunset with your whole family while overlooking the stunning Yampa Valley.

OktoberWest
Celebrate the 15th anniversary of this highly anticipated Steamboat Springs event in September, as you join other beer enthusiasts to taste beverages from over 30 brewers.
The event will include live music, featuring Clay Street Unit, a beer stein holding contest, and delicious food vendors.
There is also a Beer Stroll on Friday, September 6th, 3 – 7 p.m. which allows you to sample a variety of local beer at some of the great restaurants in Steamboat Springs.

Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market
The Steamboat Farmers Market is a can’t miss event, and will quickly become part of your weekend routine. Featuring 150 vendors, you’ll have no shortage of new and exciting meats, vegetables, specialty sauces, and scrumptious desserts to explore every week.
You’ll also find local entrepreneurs and artisans displaying their wares, crafts for kids, and food demos as you wander through the market.
Date & Time: Every Saturday until September 21st, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Yampa Street, between 5th and 8th streets

Guided Tours of the Yampa River Botanic Park
Led by Board Members and volunteers from Friends of the Botanic Park, you’ll embark on an educational tour through 6 acres of lush flower gardens. This is one of only a handful of botanical gardens in Colorado.
The park is one of the top attractions in Steamboat Springs, often hosting local events, weddings, and supporting therapeutic horticulture programs.
On your tour, you will get the chance to experience the tranquility and serenity of being surrounded by nature, while learning about how these plants thrive at 6,800 ft in the Rocky Mountains.
Date & Time: Fridays and Sundays until October 6th, 10 – 11 a.m.

BBQ Picnics and Live Music at Snow Bowl
If you haven’t tried this award-winning BBQ restaurant yet, you’re in for a treat!
Featuring a large dog-friendly patio, and bowling fun for the whole family, this is one Steamboat Springs’ staple that can’t be missed. Remodeled in 2019, this bowling alley is now a state-of-the-art facility and event center.
Date & Time: Saturdays in September, BBQ starting at 11 a.m., with Music 1 – 4 p.m.
